New warning messages you might encounter

If you are using Safe Links to help protect against phishing, then you are going to notice that the error messages are changing. Since one of the hallmarks of phishing is that something isn’t quite right, I thought it best to warn you ahead of time. Below you’ll find a comparison on what the message used to look like and what its replacement now looks like. The old message is on the left and the new one is on the right.

In addition, there are many new anti-phishing settings available. I’ve tested them on our accounts and everything is working well. We will be deploying this security update to everyone that has the appropriate license this month. This includes those that have migrated to M365 from O365 and those with ATP (advanced threat protection) licenses. One final note, we now have the ability to send out test phishing emails to your staff as part of these new licensing changes. If you’d like to test how well your staff does just say the word and we’ll see how resistant they are to fraud.
