Big change coming to Outlook

This is going to be a difficult change to get used to. In the preview program, we’ve been using it for months and now it’s about to start rolling out to everyone.

Microsoft doesn’t make user interface (UI) changes lightly. They do extensive usability studies to find inefficiencies and resolve them, then they test of private groups, then they test of public groups. Then they roll it out internally and finally it start rolling out to the rest of us.

I will admit that it took me a bit to get used to this one. But now that I have, Microsoft was right, this change makes Outlook more efficient to use.

Our recommendation? Don’t panic. Give a bit and you’re going to find that in the end you like it.
