Amy Babinchak appointed to Microsoft Futures Council
The Microsoft Futures Council is a small group of select IT professionals that Microsoft
has brought together to assist in design review for the next version of their server
products. This and the other Council's that Amy is a member allow Harbor to provide
direct feedback from our clients to major vendors to produce better products designed with
their needs in mind.
Ed Rempala has been hired as a Network Technician
Ed comes to us from Delta Airlines where he made sure that all computers at Metro Detroit
Airport were up and running at all times. Ed holds his Microsoft enginering certificate and
will be responsible for many of our larger client networks.
Ted Kinczkowski has been promoted to Technical Manager
Ted has proven extraordinary skill at project management and technical expertise. He has risen
at Harbor over 8 years to this position in which he will oversee new projects, perform
critical installations, consult with our clients and ensure that our high standards of
service are met by everyone.
Amy Babinchak has been recognized as one of the top 150 most influential small/medium
business consultants
For the third year in a row, Amy has been so regcognized by SMBTN and SMBNation. Annonymous
nominations are sought then a board of last years winners (non-eligible) are selected to
review the peer nominations. Amy is honored to think that her national peers continue to
recognize her.
Amy Babinchak has been appointed to the Partner Advisory Council at Equus
Equus assembles Intel hardware. They are the largest Intel builder in the USA, are a USA
employee owned company and perform all manufacturing in the USA. They are Harbor's preferred
PC, laptop and server vendor. This opportunity brings Harbor into direct relationship with top
management and provides an opportunity to influence future products.
Amy Babinchak has been appointed to the Storagecraft Marketing Advisory Council
Storagecraft creates the backup software that Harbor prefers. This opportunity allows
Harbor to influence future product development and provides a direct relationship with
top management.
Amy Babinchak has earned the Storagecraft Engineer Certification
Storagecraft makes ShadowProtect our preferred backup and disaster recovery
solution. Amy recently completed their highest level of certification.

Amy Babinchak selected to develop Windows 2012 exam
Amy has completed work on the development of a Windows 2012 exam. This is
one of the exams that provide IT professionals with certification credentials.
Harbor Computer Services hires Jason Basile and Shanewaz Ahmed
We are pleased to announce the addition of two staff people. Jason work internal IT
for a local medium size automotive supplier and Shanewaz comes to us from the Oakland
University IT department.

SMBNation (Small and Medium Business) recognized Amy as one of the top most influential
IT prople in the industry for the second year running.

Microsoft awards the top 1700 IT professionals in the world. The magazine selected who they
felt where the best of the best. Quite an honor.

Companies The readers of Corp! Magazine awarded HCS. We're
excited to be so recognized by the local business community.
Amy Babinchak, Ted Kinczkowski and Diana Zhao have achieved their Small
Business Server 2011 Certification. Harbor is pleased to have some
of the first people in technology to pass this exam. In addition to the honor of
having passed the exam, this achievement also allows each member to retain
their Small Business Server Specialist designation.
Amy Babinchak, Awarded Microsoft MVP Amy was re-awarded to 2011 as a
Microsoft MVP for Small Business Server. This is the 5th year that she has been so
awarded. MVP's are selected for their exceptional technical skills and the proven
sharing of those skills with other IT Professionals.
Amy Records LooksCloudy Podcast Amy and Susan Bradley were guests on
The Weather Report by LooksCloudy.com a new news website for IT Professionals. In this
Podcast they discussed the release of SBS 2011 and SBS Essentials and how they fit in
with the movement to the cloud.

support partners worldwide with information, technical and sales training. The new
blog network is designed to help partners stay informed and connected with each other.
Amy Babinchak, awarded as SBSer of the Year. Amy has been awarded SBSer
of the Year at SMBNation. SBSer of the Year is awarded to the person that has shown
leadership and has given the most to the IT community in the past year.
Diana Zhao, selected as a Subject Matter Expert for SBS. Diana has been
contracted to review questions that will appear on all future SBS certification
examinations that IT Professional around the world will take to prove their expertise.
Ted Kinczkowski, is attending SMBNation and Third Tier technical training.
Ted will attend technical training at two events focused on small business technology.

present their product roadmap, seek input and show off "coming soon" product lines.
